I remember listening to them... LOL!
Wawa naman si Jake. He started working graveyard last week and he's still not used to it. I hope we get this sleeping cycle down soon.
In other news: We're finally getting some rain here! Snow's melting and, hopefully, roads will be much clearer tomorrow. I want to head out to Target and Ross to get some shopping done. Also to go see a movie (Either Sherlock or Underworld.)
Pool. I thought it looked pretty during the snow storm. |
My favorite store-bought ice cream is Strawberry Cheesecake from Ben & Jerry's. I always have one in my freezer!!
Been getting snow in Seattle for the past few days. I have not been outside since Wednesday. Jake, on the other hand, is being picked up by a cab to go to work. Good: He doesn't need to drive, and it's free. Bad: He doesn't get a snow day. LOL! I really hope that roads are clear this Saturday because I want to go out and shop!
I remember taking a class about internet laws. One talks about how a provider/website (think about youtube, tumblr, social sites) is protected and not held liable of any creative posting (think about people covering songs, baby dancing to popular music or a newly married couple on their first dance) their users make. SOPA and PIPA strips that protection so they can and will take down this videos/pages and sue you too--along with the provider of the sharing website you uploaded to. You can get up to 5 years jail time! Imagine the whole internet trying not to get sued/taken down, so they censor every posting. HOW BORING will internet become? It will die!!!
PROTECT-IP is a bill that has been introduced in the Senate and the House and is moving quickly through Congress. It gives the government and corporations the ability to censor the net, in the name of protecting "creativity". The law would let the government or corporations censor entire sites-- they just have to convince a judge that the site is "dedicated to copyright infringement."
The government has already wrongly shut down sites without any recourse to the site owner. Under this bill, sharing a video with anything copyrighted in it, or what sites like Youtube and Twitter do, would be considered illegal behavior according to this bill.
According to the Congressional Budget Office, this bill would cost us $47 million tax dollars a year — that's for a fix that won't work, disrupts the internet, stifles innovation, shuts out diverse voices, and censors the internet. This bill is bad for creativity and does not protect your rights.
Help protect the internet. Take action now.
Tell Congress not to censor the internet NOW! - http://www.fightforthefuture.org/pipa

I know it hasn't materialized yet, but I'm collecting interior design ideas and space usage for a house. I'm looking at color schemes and items to purchase to make a house feel more homey and lived in.
I can't wait to move out of this apartment. Hey, it's a perfectly good apartment but I feel like it's time to move on. Plus, I cringe at the idea of paying rent. I need to pay mortgage, yes please.
I would really like to have a sunroom. Or part-living part-sunroom. |
Oh hey, the start of the year, and I'm already lazy. HAHAHA! I hope to get more inspiration for this blog. I really need some ideas to give this place a little more substance. But who am I kidding.. you? HAHAHA!
Okay, time to get a little serious. I'm starting a 366 photo project this year but who knows I'll actually finish it?
